Alongside your skilled physician, closest friends, and beloved nurse, we would like to be a part of your team as well.

Introducing BestBeginnings, our comprehensive maternity program designed specifically for Premera customers. Our goal is to provide you with the necessary information for a happy and healthy pregnancy. Additionally, our app will serve as a reliable resource for detailed health topics and tracking tools for your baby, while also offering valuable tips and tricks for new parents.

The BestBeginnings app for your PREGNANCY allows you to:

• Monitor your medical milestones
• Prepare for doctor visits
• Keep track of your health history and test results
• Research any questions you may have before and after the arrival of your baby
• Monitor your weight with the Weight Tracker, which seamlessly syncs with Apple HealthKit to ensure all information entered in the Health App appears in BestBeginnings automatically

The BestBeginnings app for your BABY enables you to:

• Manage the health needs of your baby from birth to 2 years old
• Access vital clinical information about newborns and young children, including developmental milestones based on age, literacy, dental health, and nutrition
• Stay informed about challenges faced by new parents, including a postpartum depression screening
• Discover helpful life hacks for new parents, ranging from the first week at home with your baby to topics such as sleep, swaddling, and travel
• Effortlessly track essential details such as diaper changes, feedings, growth, and vaccinations

In order to make the app available to you and others, Premera has partnered with the developer, Wildflower Health. To get started, simply register using your Premera ID.

Additionally, Premera members may qualify for the following:

• Extra clinical support: Our clinical maternity specialists are available to assist you whenever you need them. Their expertise is particularly beneficial for mothers who have a history of multiple births, pre-term birth, miscarriage, or complicating health conditions. They are also there for you if you experience difficult emotions during pregnancy or after the birth of your baby.
• NICU support: If things don't go according to plan, BestBeginnings provides care management for families with a baby in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Of course, as a Premera member, you have access to all of our maternity and newborn benefits. This includes prenatal care, postpartum care, breast pumps, and more.
